 <br />The AGM is your opportunity to hear a review of the Society’s work du
 ring the past year, examine the financial details of the Society and assist
  in the election of the Society’s Council.</p><p>Over the last two years Th
 e Society has increased its online activity, with all council meetings taki
 ng place online as well as the hosting of many world-renowned speakers. Thi
 s has had the positive effects of encouraging global engagement and continu
 ing to serve as a great platform for educating those new to the industry as
  well as those more senior.</p><p>There are still several vacancies on Coun
 cil. This poses a great opportunity to get more involved; if you are intere
 sted in joining the council please contact a member of council for more inf
 ormation or complete a nomination form. Being a member of the BSF Council i
 s both rewarding and greatly valued. Council members can be reimbursed for 
 out of pocket expenses incurred on Council duty. With the greater accessibi
 lity, allowed by online interfaces, the Council now includes members not ba
 sed in the UK.</p><p></p><p>Nominations are sought from the membership for 
 general positions on the Council in Vice President, Fellow, Associate and A
 ffiliate grades of membership.</p><p><br />We are always looking for guest 
 speakers to address the membership with talks which are relevant to our Ind
 ustry if you know of anyone willing to give a talk/lecture please let the C
 ouncil know.<br /><br />If you feel you may be of service or have any quest
