So lucky to have joined the flavour industry in 2010 after a PhD in Chemistry. Currently Senior Flavourist in Esarom, Austria. Homebrewer, photographer in my free time.
After serving in the Council as associate member and Vice President, I am currently serving as Honorary President from April 2023 with the aim to continue to engage our brilliant Council in the BSF activities. I am also organizing, with the help of the Event Team, online Webinars successfully started during the pandemic.

Starting in synthesis with a passion for molecules and for essential oils/ extracts to flavour creation. For 15 years I have been working as a creative flavourist, always excited and curious to discover new things.

An independent consultant since 2012. I spent several years engaged in university research at Nottingham, Lancaster, and Reading, investigating plant biochemistry, biogenic volatiles and flavour chemistry. I then moved onto roles in contract R&D and technology transfer management in the microencapsulation industry. I have operated across diverse sectors including six years developing yeast as a carrier of flavourings and three years providing sensory tools for water, beverage, and food quality control.

My name is Ibrahim Malash, Egyptian and my dream was being a Flavourist and recently i got an amazing offer to join the ADM academy as a Trainee Flavourist.I worked for a big Flavor and Fragrance houses (Symrise , IFF and Givaudan) as an Intern .During my experience abroad i got to know people from different background, different way of thinking , different cooking habits and recipes. My best moment ever is during discovering new intense flavors from different cuisines.
